Hello. Certainly appreciate any insight, as I'm a pool idiot.

It appears that over winter, the skimmer on the outside of the pool developed a large crack towards the bottom, near where it connects to the hose.

While I'm reading all sorts of tales of 'liner moving' etc when taking out the screws on the skimmer.....

Does anyone have any advice on whether I should call a pro, or try to tackle this myself?
