    Question Pool kits

I have seen where the Taylor t-2006 is recommended but most use a simple 4 bottle kit. What does everyone use?

If you want to be a pool store victim, go with the 4 bottle kit.

If you want to use the BBB method to get clear water for less $$ and with less work, get the K2006.

Pool store 'computer' testing was developed with one, and only one, thing in mind: selling more chemicals. Back in the late 70's some large store spent upwards of $4,000 (1980 $'s) to get 'mini-computers' so they could have "computer testing" . . . and sell more chemicals.

It's not exactly a conspiracy. Rather, it's the result of many companies and many pool 'experts' focusing for 30 years on how to sell more pool stuff -- which paid their salary -- rather than on how to help their customers -- which cut pool sales.
