I have the K-2006 and notice there is nothing to neutralize the pool test sample like my pool store does. Maybe the 2006 doesn't need it. I ask a lot but I'm hopeful one day to contribute to others like me that know nothing about pool care but getting more knowledgeable by the minute. I've had the 2006 for 1 week and tested my pool 5 times kinda fun Thx...dave
