I opened my pool 1 week ago. Vaccumed everything to waste, kept all the junk out of my filter, pool looks great and is holding a residual.

Last night I remembered that after I had vacummed to waste, I forgot to empty the pump basket! Lots of bugs, leaves and other assorted organic objects in there.

Just wanted to post this in case others have made the same mistake.
