It is either the start capacitor or it can also be the bearings. But because it starts sometimes, it is more likely to be the bearings because a capacitor either works or doesn't. When it does run, is it louder than normal? But either one would be odd after only a year unless the seal is leaking and damaged the bearings.

BTW, the capacitor might be in the end cap of the motor.

Thanks Mark.... finally got the time to work on it and that was it.... it was the starting capacitor. I guess with all the rain and lightning this last month, it got popped or something. $6 and we're in business again. Thanks again for responding to my message. IOU one !!!
