Default Skimmer doesn't look active but I do see water coming in through the return

Is there a clog or not?

When i turn the skimmer valve to allow only return from the "troubled" skimmer, I am seeing a good flow, but looking at the skimmer, i see no movement. The other skimmer actually looks like its draining water into the line. Any ideas?

I am an absolute pool newbie in every aspect. I am hoping to gain a ton of knowledge from this forum.

    Thanks in advance

    Matt

Typically unbalanced flow between skimmers means 1 of 3 things:
    (a) with separate valves, one line may have a closed or partially closed line, OR
    (b) the piping to the 'slow' skimmer was laid out improperly, OR
    (c) something is in the piping on the slow side, like a rubber two or a walnut.

Finding and fixing problems like these is not, unfortunately, something we can help much with over the Internet. You pretty much ave to work from the pool deck.
