Default Cloudy pool after killing algae

I like to thank the mods on this forum, I absolutely love it here. I have probably spent 4-5 hours reading through all the useful stickies and guides, I learned so much that I don't consider myself a newbie pool owner anymore. I would like to get registered and also confirm something.

I had a mustard algae bloom due to my improper care with the chlorine level. I have kept my pool at shock level using the best guess chart for the past 4 days and my pool is no longer green but it is cloudy which I guess is all the dead algae plus maybe a few live ones. I'm vacuuming (not to waste, I'm using a dolphin robot) and brushing the sides and the bottom every day after adjusting the chlorine level.

Judging from my results so far I think I'm on the right track. So what is next?
I believe I should keep shocking and vacuuming the pool until it gets clear. Is that correct? The weekend is supposed to be nice and sunny so I hope it gets cleared up by then. Is there anything I can do to speed things up a bit? I saw in one of the posts that Ben recommended a floc of specific brand.

I was also wondering, my pump's been running 24/7. Should I maybe turn it off one of these nights to let the dead algae settle to the bottom so I can sweep it the next day?

    Thank you very much,

PS. I don't have my Taylor kit yet(which I ordered through here) so I cannot provide accurate numbers, but I can provide the numbers with my crappy test kit if needed.
