We have medium gray plaster that is supposedly made with black marble sand added, not dye. No fading after 2 years and it gives the pool a nice blue color. There is some mottling of the color that we think adds to the natural look but check one out in person to see if you like it first. Much cheaper than the pebble finishes but may not last as long.
