    Default New pump, 2 speed???

    I currently have a Jandy stealth 2.0hp pump that has become very loud, I beleive it has been compromised but still pumps water well. Before I have the current pump repaired, I would like to ask for thoughts on possibly replacing it with a more efficient pump. Would a 2 speed pump be a wise choice? My priorities are efficiency and running quietly.

    My pool system has one pump that runs the system. We only have one water feature in our pool, the water spilling over from the spa.

    Looking for peace and quiet while enjoying our pool.

    Suggestions????

    I LOVE having a 2 speed pump. I will never have a single speed pump again!

    Would I be correct in saying with a 2 speed pump, you use it on low speed in general and high speed for spa use?
