    Default Above ground ladder/dogs

Hello - Finally have the pool installed. Now the next issue...I have 3 dogs and they love to get in the water. My youngest golden retriever has arthritis and it is hard for her to get in and out of water-but she needs to swim for the exercise. I am looking at the Vinylworks Entry System and the Neptune Step-A-Frame ladder Entry. Does anyone have either one of these stair systems? They look very similiar - but have about a $200 difference in price. If you use something else that would work great for dogs, I would appreciate it if you would share the info. Thanking you in advance, Bob

Hey Bob, there was a good thread not long ago about that. It just might help.

We have the drop in stairs for our pool and we taught our dog to use the steps to get in and out. The first few times, we led him down the steps and as he swam toward the deck, we guided him to the stairs. It didn't take very long for him to figure it out. By the way, he's a 100 lb. lab.
