My pump motor has the 3 prong twist plug and Id like to change it to a standard 3 prong plug. Checked at my local Home Depot and all they have are medium duty replacement cords(14g). My pump is a two speeder with the highest being 8.8amps @ 115v. If Im figuring correctly thats 1012 watts, so as long as the medium duty cord will handle that wattage Im thinking I should be ok. Any thoughts?
