New to pool ownership

Hi all.

My family just signed on the dotted line for our first adventure into pool ownership I'll be here a lot to try to figure out the things I need to know. If anyone has any good advice for me "before" the pool gets put in I would love to hear it. We are about three weeks out from the beginning of construction.

My advice is to do a lot of reading here on the forum and especially the stickied threads at the top of the subforums. Also read over at www.poolsolutions.com. Lastly, go ahead and order a good kit from the test kit l ink in my signature so you'll already have it when you need it. The one you want is the Taylor K-2006 or 2006C.
