Polaris 280 setup tips

I just recieved my Polaris 280 today, I installed the halcyon booster pump, and will be setting up the 280 this evening, does anyone have any tips that would be helpful? After reading the instructions, I am a little concerned about cutting the hose to the proper length, in the drawing they show the return line mounting at the farthest end of the pool, mine of course is near the shallow end, probably about 4 feet short of the end, do I still cut the hose for the entire length of the pool, or do I subtract the distance that my return is from the end? Thanks for any help!

From the point that the Polaris hooks up to the wall make sure it can clean the farthest point of the pool even if the hookup is not in the center of the pool. Hope this helps.

Thanks, after watching the 280 in action, I probably need to shorten the hose.
