    Question Too much algaecide in pool

    I put way too much alg. in pool when opening. Now water will not clear up..What can I do? thx

    Sometimes running high chlorine levels will break it down over time. Also, run your filter 24/7 while you are trying to clear it.

    This is one of the reasons we say only to use Polyquat 60% algaecide.

    Too late for Polyquat...But I'll try high chlorine and filter 24/7.......thx

    Would u recommend clarifier? I let pump run for the past 30 + hrs...no improvement
