Alkalinity is over 200 PPM. In the past I have used muratic acid to lower it, but when I use the Arm and Hammer sodium carbonate, recommended by you, the PH as well as the akalinity goes up. How do I do this?? I have looked at this site bfore and found solutions before that has saved me $$$. I now registered to ask for advice. Maybe I expect too much too fast, or am adding to much too soon.?
