Default brown water in new pool

We just put up a new pool this last weekend and after we filled it up and shocked it and chrolene in it the water turned brown. Is there anything that is going to take the brown out of the water or did I just make the biggest mistake in my life buying a pool?????
I would like to not go broke taking care of this problem

I'll leave it up to the metal experts but it sounds, at first blush, like you have a high iron content in your water and what you're seeing is, essentially rust. I suspect you'll need instructions on how to use HEDP, or Metal Out, but, again, our metal experts must advise you.

    Definitely sounds like iron.

    1. What kind / size of pool do you have?

    2. Where did the water come from? (tap, well, trucked in)

    3. Do you have another source of water available?

    4. What kind of pump and filter do you have (make / model).
