    Default water evaporation

    hey all I have had my pool up and running for several days now .. water is sparkling as usual 1 question should water evaporate allot in cool beginning of year? I had to ad water today don't really remember doing that in past years only difference this year I haven't put solar cover on yet? could that be it? lost 2 inches in 10 days .. no wet spots so ???? also had a good rain so really lost more than that???????
    21' round a/g
    250 lb sand filter w/2 speed pump
    new liner
    sand and
    LOVE TO SWIM

    Take a bucket of water and float it in the pool. If it loses as much water as the pool,yes, it's evaporation. Otherwise you have a leak.
