Jacuzzi Tri_Clops filter

I have an 8 year old Jacuzzi Tri-Clops.

We have replaced the original cartridges with some generics. They have been working fine. The problem I'm starting to have is with leaks around the locking ring. I installed a new O-ring and the ring tightens easily to the stop position. When I start the filter up I get a very slow drip from the ring. I also noticed that the top of the filter "lifts" when the pump is turned on and settles back down when the pump is turned off (about 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch or less).

Any ideas?
