Default Quick way to lower FC level?

As I have been fighting a bit of mustard algae and rose my FC level to around 20ppm for a week or so now, it appears I am seeing the signs of my liner bleaching out (in another thread ;-) ). Is there a quick way to lower the FC level without causing more problems?

    Thanks.

Not really a good way to lower chlorine. Just kinda have to wait it out. If you have a cover on your pool, take it off as you'll lose more chlorine that way than if it is covered.
