Our Super Simple Start-up Recipe would be a great choice. It is not just for Intex pools, but for any freshly filled pool. You just adjust the doses for your volume. Read about it here:> http://pool9.net/ssr/

Also, go ahead and order a good kit. We like the Taylor K2006 or 2006C (better buy). Not available locally but you can get it through this link:> http://pool9.net/tk/

    . . . membership updated.

If you are willing to jump through a few of my hoops, I'll work with you individually to develop an exact recipe. I need to expand the SSR to cover larger pools, and yours would be ideal . . . IF:

1a. You are filling with city water, not well water, OR
1b. If filling with well water, you do the bucket test, and get a negative result.

    2. You have access to a Sams Club, or can get undiluted dichlor elsewhere (not: Walmart, Costco or Kmart! -- Lowes and Home Depot, maybe.)

    3. You are willing to follow instructions and NOT mix and mingle pool store advice with ours.

    Good luck!
