Default variable speed with heat pump and salt water generator

If I'm running a variable speed pump on low rpms can this cause any issues with a salt chlorine generation system or the heat pump?

Regarding the salt chlorine system there is a minimum flow amount that must go thru the unit to generate chlorine. I have a Pentair IC-40 and I think it requires around 1300 rpms from my variable speed pump to flow enough water to make the proper amount of chlorine. I have my pump running most of the time at 1750rpm with a couple of hours at 2750rpm and it puts out plenty of chlorine for my 40,000 gallon pool.
