Since it will take awhile for the stabilizer to dissolve, you may find that you need to add bleach a couple of times per day for the first week or so. After that, you'll be able to go to testing and dosing in the evening only.

The SWCG manual says to use 1.3lbs of CYA for 5061 gallons, but doesn't say what level CYA that brings it to.
16'x48" Intex, 5061 gallons, Intex 1500gph filter, Intex SWCG #54601EG, Filling with water on 6/7/14.

I added stabilizer at setup but only the minimum amount and use bleach with a few 1 inch hth ( I got them free) tabs when I know pool will be used heavily and it appears to be working for me. I am not losing that much now I did once a week ago but it has stabilized now. I know nothing about the SWG
20 x 52 intex above ground, intex 1650 gph sand filter with a salt ozone
