Default pump plug- tines form circle-

help- this is my first post.

I just got a second hand pump as a gift and it has a different plug type

having search the internet I believe it's a locking type plug, but couldn't find any picture.

any chance I can get an adapter, or am I going to have a to have the pump plug rewired.

I'm amazed at how much I have already learned here reading all the posts. I was reading to get rid of our above ground pool because of hassle but am looking forward to it now

It is a twist lock plug, and you can get an adapter. I have one, but I ended up just rewiring the pump with a regular male plug. You should be able to get the adapter at your local pool shop I would say.

Or you can get a twist lock receptacle. Which may be required by code.
