    Default filter cleaning

    Odd question. Due to my pump issue I feel a need to clean my filter often. Can you clean you filter too often ?

    Probably not. But you will wear the cartridge out faster - the fabric will start to get a fuzzy look. I clean mine about every two weeks.
    In-ground gunite 16 x 30 13,000 gal. Full screen enclosure. 120 sq ft. Filter cartridge, 1-1/2 HP pump. Master Pools In-floor cleaner. Taylor K-2006.
