Rule #1 for troubleshooting in my world is: "If you can't find the problem then you are looking in the wrong place." Maybe the pump is getting something caught or maybe the temperature or chemistry of the water. Whatever, look someplace else. And, gather more environmental data...what is the temp outside when it quits? What time of day? Start a spreadsheet, look for correlations. It is probably not the motor at this point.
