How much sand?

We are having sand brought out today. Can anyone tell me quickly how many tons of sand we need for a 27' round above ground pool?

I don't know what it calculates in tons, but about 4 yards from what I've been able to find on the 'net.

If you're installing it yourself the instructions should tell you. If a company is installing it for you they should have told you how much.

Thanks Sherra, we bought 5 tons but looks like it's not going to be enough. We're getting 2 more tons. That should be enough and have a little to spare.

Sherra, excellent reply. That is excactly what I would order. 4 yards equals about 7 tons. So two more tons for kdd3 should work out just fine.
