...1HP Whisperflow pump last night. The install went a lot easier than I was expecting. I hope to have the plaster done and fill it back up within a week. Any special start up process regarding the pump? I plan to run a hose through the suction lines until I know the're full and then fill the bowl at the pump as well.. anything else to look out for ?

No not really. It it doesn't prime and start pumping in a couple minutes shut it off and figure out why it won't.
