Number of pool returns/inlets

OK. Then 2 skimmers rather than one for special circumstances. But still only low drain and one return. It's not a very big pool.

I have 4 returns and two skimmers and I am glad I have them. I use one return for each skimmer pointed towards the skimmer. The other two returns are pointed down to get the solar heat a bit deeper into the pool. I almost wish I had those returns plumbed closer to the bottom of the pool.

I have an 18 x 36 diving pool 3.5 to 8 ft. I have one skimmer, two returns, no main drain, and a polaris. It stays clean and crystal clear.
