Hey folks,

Bought a new pump and when I was there I figured I'd buy a Pump Motor Cover

The salesman said it's good to use them.

Before I pop this on though, I started growing concerned that maybe it could do more damage than good. Like prevent proper air circulation or cause overheating.

So, what's the real deal? Is it good to use these motor covers, is it unneccessary, or is it potentially harmful?
