Pentair multi port valve 27-1141 - DE enters the pool

I have a Pentair Triton II. My air relief hose on the inside of my filter had lost the top filter. I reattached it, threaded the hose through the diffuser and never had sand in the pool again. I don't know ifyours works the same way, but this is one problem.

I replace the filter o ring, problem solved.
