Could you remind us how to read the date code?

Usually the date code is a 5 digit number like 16128. That would mean it was bottled on the 128th day of 2016. Here is a calendar link:

By the way, our Menard's is having a "buy one/get one free" on 12.5% for $3.99 so it's $2/gallon. Date code is 16120, so 8 days old. Check your local stores!

No Menard's near me, or even in Washington state I think. Too bad. I love living in this small rural town but when it comes to pool supplies, car parts, appliance parts, etc., you can't find it here. Thank God for Amazon!
