Default How do you weigh down Confer steps

I just bought Confer steps & did not add sand to the inside. What ways are people weighing down the front of the steps?

I replaced my ladder with steps last year. Last year I rigged it so I could hang used gallon "shock" bottles that were filled with sand. I had to use about 5 of them to keep the stairs in place. And then just barely. This year I added the sand and the stairs are rock solid. I just worry about getting them out of the pool at the end of the season. That's why I didn't fill them last year. Should be fun to see what works on getting them out later this year. I suspect it will be easier than I imagine as long as I have a helper on the deck with someone pushing up from below.
