That calcium level is gonna' be problematic. I have no personal experience but, if it were my pool, I'd work on lowering it. The two possibilities I see mentioned on this forum are 1)partial drain and refill if your fill water is acceptable and 2) use of a water softener to remove the calcium.

Since it appears to be a regional problem, local pool companies may be able to give you some assistance based on their experience.

Sorry it took so long to get back to the forum. I just tested my fill water for CA and it is 190ppm.

I'm thinking about going the drain route. What do you all think?
