    Default Replacing liner soon

    Hello-

I will be replacing my liner in the next week or so. (darn pool alarm ripped the liner over the winter!).

The pool was originally installed with a sand bottom with sand coving. I think the sand coving has since been washed away. My question is, could I install a foam coving over the sand bottom?

One other question about draining the pool. I can probably get most of the water out by siphoning with a garden hose. But, how do you get the rest out? Can I poke holes in the liner?

    Thanks!

Yup and yup. You can use a foam cove over sand and you'll have to resurface the sand anyway for the new liner.
