I'd highly recommend that you buy a salt kit and test your water ahead of time. I ended up over salting my pool by almost 1/3, even though I put in 80 pounds less than recommended. It's not my tap water, so the only thing I can come up with is that bleach caused my salt level to get up to 1000 ppm or more.
