SNAP system question

My husband and I finished installing an 18' above ground a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to this forum I have only added bleach and a few tri chlor pucks to the water until I get my CYA to good level. My question is that the pool package we bought came with the "SNAP system" of pool care. I know what the clarifier and tabs are, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the bottles of "initiator" are for. The instructions were to add it when you filled the pool, but nowhere on the label can I find the ingredients listed and I just haven't gotten around to calling the company. I would rather have the opinion of the experienced pool owners from this site, anyhow. I have learned so much from this site! The information posted here helped me defeat a mucky, dark green, tadpole infested pool of my mother's. Thank you so much for such a wonderful forum!

I tried to find out by looking at Gaurdex's web site. Like you already know , it doesnt give anything on what it is. When I saw the link for the MSDS , I thought good that'll lay it out. THe link was dead...things that make you say
"hmmmmm" ...I dont know

I know bleach , baking soda & borax though
