I am in the process of switching from Pristine Blue to BBB. Our pool is concerete/plaster but it sounds like the same would apply to a vinyl pool

I would use a sequestering agent - vinyl pools do stain, although not as easily as fiberglass or gunite. Just to be on the safe side - it won't hurt, and it will bind up any copper that is left from the pristine blue. Sometimes the water just turns a light green from the copper too, and the sequestering agent will stop this also. Please ask any more questions you may have.

Your right AndieP, your dialog with Marie in the link you provided was really good. It really answered some of my questions and I feel I'm ready to go now. I've got the Taylor K-2006C kit and I've been practicing testing ph and TA. I think I've got the hang of it. I'm going to get some sequestering agent to be on the safe side. Thanks everyone for your help.
