    Thanks for the reply. I think the salt is fully disolved as its been in the pool 4 days. I no longer see any on the bottom. Putting is some fresh water should lower the temp a little, it had been 85 degrees.

    I have an above ground pool with a gold line SWG. I would try resetting the unit. You can do this by turning off the power to the unit. I got a low salt reading one time after 6 inch plus rain and had to add salt and reset. You should be just the opposite! To bring down the salt level you will have to drain and refill and reset the unit.

    I always check my salt with a salt test kit before doing anything.

    Beleive it or not. My pool took almost a week initially for the salt level to stabilize. It looked all dissoved also but my levels continued to rise for a few more days.
    Retired pool store and commercial pool maintenance guy.

    Thanks all.
    All seems well now. I drained some and added water. This brought down the salt and the temp and it is generating now.
