High bromine

I have a 12x3 quick-set pool. I'm using vinyl pool shock. The test trip indicates high bromine (all other levels are fine). What does this mean, and how do I fix it?

Ignore it, unless you're using bromine for sanitation, which I doubt you are. Most of the chlorine OT tests also have a bromine scale that confuses new users, but unless you're putting bromine in your pool (it's often used for spas), ignore it.
