The pump has been out of the box for about 24 hrs. so I really hope it's not a rock or a worn impeller already! I've been letting the air escape and checking that valve occasionally, I don't think it's trapped air either.

I'm just hoping it's not a part trying to run that's improperly seated somewhere. Guess I'll just fiddle with it a bit more.....
