    Simmons99, I was looking at your gallery and got a great kick out of the letter you posted from your neighbors itemizing $72 and change for the pineapple plants the bobcat ran over. I would not pay them the $6 and change for the hose nozzle, I think that is pushing it. I would pay them in pennies myself. SoCal might be expensive, but if I had a neighbor like that at least I would a fence separating me from them. I would also put my pool equipment as close to the property line as possible. I would also play very loud music when you are out at the pool.

    Anyway - thanks for all your opinions. The only one that makes sense is the water issue - there are no fiber optics. I guess I will ask the pool builder - he just isn't very talkative on the phone - and I've felt bad for the poor guy since my neighbors keep calling him
