Put in more Borax....it'll come up. You were probably lower than 6.8 to start.

Putting more borax in is correct, but you numbers are a bit off, so I question your pH
You said your Free Chlorine is 5 and your total is 3.
This cannot be possible.
The total chlorine is the combination of free chlorine and combined chlorine.
So FC can = TC but never be less than it.

Make sense??

Andy,

His/her FC result if from the FAS/DPD test and his/her TC result is from the OTO test. It is common for new posters to post both results until they recognize how each test is used.
