    Can you download bleachcalc as Dave (duraleigh) suggests? It can be found at BleachCalc. That's the easiest way for you to figure out how much of each chemical to add.

    I downloaded it awhile. I was thinking 1 qt = 6ppm instead of 1 gal. I'll just have to restart tonight.

    If you have Ben's kit, you will get FAR better advice and more quickly to the point if you post current test results for FC, CC, pH, Alk, and CYA each time you start a new thread. You'd be amazed what those current, complete results will reveal.

    Actually, I did post my first results there. I've gotten more response from this section than that one. The main point of this thread was adding Cl and acid at the same time. Didn't really feel it had anything to with Ben's kit. Part of the problem was my miscalculation.
