    Default 1st test results

    IG Diamond Brite pool approx. 20000 gals

    fc = 2.5
    cc = .5
    tc = 3
    pH = 8.2
    alk = 100
    cal = 400
    cya = 40
    temp = 91

    How do these numbers look?

    Also is there a chart that tells what ideal levels are for each of these tests?

    Thanks

    I'd bring the pH down into a 7.2-7.6 range first thing. 8.2 is too high....it might be higher.

    Your Alk will drop when you do that but don't worry about it 'til you get your pH in line.

    How are you chlorinating your pool? Don't use Cal Hypo...your calcium is as high as you want it.

    I would suggest a Cl range of 3-6ppm. You are okay but I'd try to keep it in that range constantly.

    How does your water look? That's the biggie!

    It is a new pool with a salt system. I have been using 3" stabilized chlorine pucks. We will be starting the salt system this week.
