Electrical Connection 115 vs 230 Volts

I have not been able to find any X10 switch or relay rated for 240 V load and outdoor use. Can you provide any specifics . thanks again for any assistance. Curt

Radio shack has X10-230V modules, usually for appliances.
You'll not really save any money by running 230 volts (it costs the same: 230V @ 7 amps = 115 V @ 14 amps; P (power in watts) = I (current)x V(volts))
However, as thepoolman said, you'll save in breaker rating and wire gauges.

My whole house is automated with a lot of X10 devices and controled with Homeseer software.
My experience is to stay away from most of the junk that x-10 makes.

Works absolutely 100% reliable.
To make it weather poof I have it installed in a sealed pvc electrical box with my wiring in pvc conduit back to the panel.
