FWIW, the King Tech website states it is a silver/limestone system and doesn't mention any other minerals that I have found.

This is interesting. they have very recently changed their website since they used to say that it was a silver/zinc/limestone system. Either they have removed the zinc or or just not listing it anymore.
Here the the webpage from the Wayback archinves from Feb 2005 that lists zinc!

Here is the quote from that page about the minerals they use

I guess their claim about the silver and zinc preventing algae was one they couldn't uphold!
