    Interesting. Wonder what it is, but it is VERY expensive next to DE. I've been treating my filter for a year and still haven't finished the first 5# bag in a 10# box that cost me $8.

    Fiber Clear is a cellulose DE substitute. It can also be used with cartridge filters.
