    Default SWG Install Prep ?

I have ordered a SWG to convert my pool over, it should be here next week. It is a new pool that has been filled for approximately 30 days. My question is....can I or should I go ahead and add the salt to the pool to get it disolved and mixed well in the pool water? I don't want to create a problem for myself in trying to get it switched, just thought that this might make it easier at start up.

If it is OK are there any caveats that I should be aware of?

    Thanks

You don't mention the pool type, as the question of adding salt is different for both. With a vinyl liner pool the salt can be added immediately, but with a plaster pool, I would wait at least a month before doing this.

I just answered a thread on this subject for SeanB in this forum this morning, so please check for further details.

    Hope this helps.
