    Can i run the pump with the solar cover on during the day when im at work?

    yep..i have done that all summer ..12 hours a day with the cover on and no problems..matter of fact, i would suggest you do so for sure if you keep the cover on a lot to keep chlorine in the water circulating so you avoid algae bloom.
