    Default Hayward Multi Valve Gasket

This might be a dumb question....

my gasket is flat and smooth on one side and rounded off on the other side.
which side do I need to put in the grooves of the multi-valve?

(it is a Hayward SP-740DE...if that helps)

    Thanks

Not familiar with that specific valve but the flat side goes in the channels if it follows the convention of other valves. If you look at the channels closely you'll see they should be squared off. Curious how you're attaching it.
